SOLOS: Athletes will complete a 1 rep max weighted pull-up (any grip), and a weighted dip. The competitor that lifts the most weight will receive $2,000, and a custom weighted calisthenics belt. 2nd place contestant will receive $1,000 and 3rd place contestant will receive $500.
Total weight lifted only includes the weight attached to a belt, bodyweight will not be measured. Every athlete will get 3 attempts to achieve their highest weight lifted, the highest of the 3 will be the number used to determine their total.
Form Rules
PULL-UPS Athletes will start in a dead hang position, and get their chin above the bar for a completed rep
DIPS: Athletes will start the rep with arms straight, and lower themselves until elbows are bent to 90 degrees; to complete the rep they must return to the starting position
NO KIPPING (using extra momentum) for either movement.
